Their bright hues of orange remind me of the current sunset, so smooth and expressive. I pluck one and examine it for a while. Isn’t it odd, how something so small can be so elegant and royal? My mind begins to wander and it leads to thinking of him. Which reminded me that he adored lilies. I’ll take this flower to him tonight.
